I. Design Task of Automatic Idler Roller Welding Machine
1. automatic idler roller welding machine should be able to automatically complete the multi-layer welding of U-shape line and V-shape line for various rollers. Roller length: 100mm-400mm, roller diameter: 320mm.
2. The roller does not need spot welding for position. Machine can automatically make pre-heating and continuous welding.
3. Welding time: 1pc/2minutes. The welding seam appearance, size on average, welding section and penetration can reach specification.

III. Roller Welding Machine Specification
1. Single welding torch. Torch is fixed. Roller will be rotation while machine is working.
2. Pneumatic loading and unloading roller. Welding process is accomplished automatically, so the labor intensity of workers is reduced.
3. PLC controls the whole machine operation. Roller rotation speed is stepless adjustment, to improve the reliability.
4. Automatic preheating. Pre-heating time and length can be set in welding program advance.
5. Machine included oscillating and lifting mechanism.
6. Machine enclosure will keep machine clean and extend machine service life.
